A pointer to the DPMI spec is in the DJGPP FAQ list (v2/faq202b.zip from 
the same place you get DJGPP).

Note, however, that for most practical purposes, you can ignore the inner 
workings of DPMI memory allocation, and write programs as if all the 
memory installed on your machine was just that: memory.  No segmentation, 
no far pointers, etc.
