Well, you might get more replies if you posted this in comp.lang.ada...

Anyway, if you think GNAT somehow uses a intermediate step using C you
are wrong.
GNAT generates directly for the gcc code generator, there is no
immidiate step
in between.

However, as DOS is not case sensitive and has an 8.3 filename
limitations you might
run into this kind of problems anyway.
