I have been experiencing problems with the info system for DJGPP
v2.01. I had successfully used the info system that came with the
v2.00 distribution, but when I upgraded to 2.01, I discovered that the
INFO.EXE that came with the release is slightly dysfunctional. The
problem occurs when I attempt to jump to a link (such as gcc.inf) which
has references to more files by the same root name (gcc.i1, gcc.i2,
etc.). At this point, I get the error message "cannot find node
'top'". This error occurs for TXI370B.ZIP and TXI390B.ZIP files. The
files in TXI360B.ZIP work fine. (However, if I recompile the sources
in TXI360S.ZIP under DJGPP v2.01, the problem reappears.)

Following a reference to a node that is complete in itself (such as
DJGPPFAQ.INF) has worked fine for all versions and compilations.

I am running MS-DOS 6.22 and QEMM 7.01 on a Pentium 90, but am not
running from a DOS box under Windows.

I must have some weird configuration problem, but I have tried all the
permutations I could think of, and I can't get it to work right, except
with the older TXI360B.ZIP files. I have tried the suggestion in the
FAQ to use DTOU.EXE to convert the .INF files to from DOS to UNIX
format, but that didn't help matters. My INFOPATH environment variable
must be correct, otherwise I could not reference *any* node. This
problem has me befuddled. Any ideas?
