When I try to compile programs with gcc or gxx I get an error
message that says...
c:/djgpp/bin\ld.exe: cannot open linker script file djgpp.lnk: No such
file or directory (ENOENT)
The message is correct... I have no file called djgpp.lnk. From what
I get from the FAQ, it appears that this file should be in my LIB
subdirectory but I cannot find it in any of the v2 binary distribution
files that are listed as "required" for compiling programs. Where
can I get this file? Is there something else I should have done to
get it to create the linker file?
I'm very new to djgpp and c progamming in general so I may be missing
something obvious. I got the required djgpp files according to the
faq and unzipped them to the proper directory structure. My autoexec.bat
file is setup properly with paths etc. I am running under Win95 but
I made a point of not creating a shortcut to djgpp so that it wouldn't
put in any misleading lnk files of its own.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chuck
