I found recently a bug in djtart/x reading multivolume disk generated by tar on a sparc: djtar uses the first sector of all disks as data. In fact starting from the second disk the first sector contains the name of the file actually in use and the remaining length and could be used to check if the right disk is actually inserted. Daniel
