Of course, changing the partition table by hand isn't exactly a great idea. (I
should hope you kept a backup of the info in case something didn't work
correctly!)
Some suggestions (which you could have found if you took the time to do a
little research):

A DOS partition resizer, haven't tried it, but I suppose it should work.
Oh, BTW, why not just backup, repartition, format, and restore?
