"foo.h" is certainly relevant, but you didn't include it.  What happens 
if you move #include "foo.h" *after* allegro.h?

There is no `=' on line 613 (or anywhere near that) in allegro.h.  It 
probably has something to do with some define on `foo.h' or elsewhere in 
your program *before* allegro.h is included.
