	   Hi there,

I was wondering if anybody knows where I could find a DOS port of
RCS, or some good revision control program. For that matter, I would
also be grateful for information of any site containing executables
for gnu products. I know its lazy, but why compile if you don't have
   to :-).

On 9 Mar. 1996 Mark Singer wrote:

I have uploaded the [RCS] binaries compiled for go32 1.12m3 to
  ftp.netcom.com:/pub/ftp/el/elf/rcsdos

And on 31 May 1996 Ulrich posted:

There should be a version of RCS 5.6.7.4 at
ftp.uni-regensburg.de:/sys/freeware/software/dos/tools/file.
Look for rcs*!
I've compiled this version, and I use it since then without major trouble.

Thereafter [someone] posted:

NEW VERSION IN DJGPP V2:

 ftp://ftp.netcom.com/pub/el/elf/rcsdos

All of these have either been compiles with DJGPP V2 or can be. Also any
Simtel site will have GNU tools ported to DJGPP, source and executables below:
