This crash is due a bug in the library routine
__crt0_load_environment_file. It overwrites memory if the file
djgpp.env contains a non-empty line without an '=' sign in
the section it is looking for. In particular, Your system
may crash if you edit djgpp.env with an editor that appends
control/z to the file!
