Wrong file. I usually tell people the exact filename of the FAQ
distribution (v2/faq201b.zip--note the `b' letter) when I suggest they
read the FAQ, but sometimes I leave that out to prevent boredom.

There's the `readme.1st' file in the v2 directory that includes these
instructions. You probably haven't read it. Since DJGPP is all files, I
don't know any other way to tell people how to get started except to put
these instructions on a file with a descriptive name that should catch
people's attention. The assumption is that if you are confused and
everything else failed, you will look for these README files.

If you can think of better way(s) to spread the word, please suggest them.

I don't recommend printing the FAQ, because it is much larger than most
FAQs you saw. Printed version will be very hard to search efficiently,
mainly because of its sheer size. Instead, use the table of contents and
the two large indices at the end of the FAQ to search it whenever you have
any specific problem. It's best to use one of the hypertext versions
(Info or HTML) because then you can jump to the chapters referenced in the
indices at a keypress; but the plain ASCII version can be also searched if
you have a sufficiently sophisticated text browser.
