You are in trouble then, since the DPMI 0.9 specification says this
won't work.  You might try buying a copy of 386MAX - it's DPMI 1.0
server might let you do this.  You might try using the PMODE/DJ
server since it's a one pass server.  Else, avoid 16-bit DPMI completely.
