Why? If your program doesn't need to glob command-line parameters, just define an empty `__crt0_glob_function' and never look back. Programs that do need the globbing will *always* use it, so it doesn't make sense to decide at runtime whether to load it or not. Yeah, I agree. Really is the simplest method. Chris
