Nooo.... ELF is implemented on most if not all SVr4.x UNIX systems: IRIX, 
Solaris, and others. Definitely not an Intel-CPU thing, although an added 
benefit is that x86 Unix boxes can run each others' code to a certain 
extent using iBCS.
