I am trying to compile a c++ file with gcc and I keep getting a 'virtual
memory exhausted' error message in map.h line 113.

I have searched high and low for information about this, and am at a
loss to determine the cause and find a solution.

My system configuration is as follows:
  486/66
  16 Mb RAM
  1 Gb HDD, 3.5" FDD
  2xCDROM

  Windows 95
  32 Mb swap file

DPMI property of MS-DOS Prompt set to Auto
  Using 4DOS 5.51B instead of COMMAND.COM

Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Rename this to go32.exe only if you need a go32 that can run v2 binaries as
well as v1 binaries (old makefiles). Put ahead of the old go32 in your PATH.
