Hello all, here is a problem which needs no urgent solution, but I would be glad if I know one: What I want to do is to get the binary representation of a float or double (the way these numbers are stored in memory). How can I obtain them? How do I modify them? Is there a documentation from which I can see how the format of these binary represetations on PC's (and in DJGPP) is. I played with these methods long ago on an AMIGA (with AmigaBASIC) but know I do C and didn't find a way until yet! Is any help possible? Thanks in advance, Armin Armin Herzer FH Ravensburg-Weingarten Postfach 1261 88241 Weingarten Germany phone 49 751 501417 fax 49 751 501446 e-mail: herzer AT fbp DOT fh-weingarten.
