Getting there... I'm (getting around to) working on a small graphics
lib that I can use to write for both Linux and Dos32, through the use of
DJGPP and GCC with their respective graphics libraries.

None, really. Handles crashes really well, as far as I have seen.
However, I have not completed a large project with DJGPP yet...

Good question. I _guess_ they could hang our here if others wanted to
talk. I'll gladly talk if it gets some discussion of DJGPP going (and
maybe even Linux games programming? :))

Agreed (re: GCC). As for interrupts, there's a file called sblast.zip
or something that has some sample sound blaster code. Maybe this has
the answer to the elusive problem you had two years ago?
