I think I know the source of that strange behavior with LFN in win95.
I've placed DJGPP on a network drive (using SAMBA) and thus short file
names was in lowercase. I don't know how that can affect djgpp, but
when I moved all files to local disk all became ok with LFN=Y.
I still think that it is a bug introdused with beta4, because
beta3 was on that network drive too.
