A known issue with V1.x - load times are greatly improved with V2 since
there is no GO32 to load, memory is not zeroed, and the image is read from
the disk in large chunks instead of 4Kb at a time.  Also, if you use -s
when you link, you may find the actual executable code is smaller when
the debug information is removed.
