   Hello:
First of all, let me say thank you to those guys who answered to
   my previos request:

Patrick Sullivan <psullivn AT intersurf DOT com>
Ian D. Romanick <ird AT cs DOT pdx DOT edu>
   Sam Vincent <@?>
Thanks for your quick answer, but mea culpa, I did'nt
mentioned the context of my request, reading float.h you can find some
#def's quoted by "max normalised float", "max normalised double", etc.

I know what's normalised scientific notation is, but does not seem it's
relation with gnu C's floats, doubles, etc. very clear, 'cause a float
(or etc.) is an array of bits, and I didn't knew whats the meannig of it's
   order inside the array.

Art S. Kagel <kagel AT quasar DOT bloomberg DOT com>
Thanks, your answer really hits the point, but I had
tried to find the IEEE-8... doc (even entering IEEE's www url!!), whit-
   out luck.

Please, the one (she or he) who knows where can we find that standard,
Can you please mail us the correct email address?

If someone has more info on the subject, please post,

   And again, thanks.
