Actually, you don't have to go to all that trouble. Just go to any simtel
mirror (oak.oakland.edu, for instance) in the simtel/msdos/sysutil directory
and download pc_dcl.zip. It should be more or less what you want.

flexdoc.1 is written in [nt]roff. You can use either groff or (as I'd
recommend) cawf [simtel/msdos/textutil/cawf404.zip] to turn it into more
legible text. In terms of bison.tex, texinfo.tex is available many places,
including simtel/msdos/djgpp/txi310dc.zip.
