To those who know the answers:

I've written a polling program that samples the parallel port and the
clock. I do this 100000 times placing the results in two arrays for
post processing. The time between samples is 20 us and I was hoping to
get it down to 6 us. I know that I should have bought a faster computer,
but know that I have spent the $ I'm stuck with 33 MHz. Do you have
any suggestions on how to speed things up? How do I turn off and on the
keyboard interrupt? Any ideas will be appreciated.

My main goal is time correlated data from the parallel port with the
fastest sample rate possible.

Yours,

Derrick Early
