In the past somebody reported a similar problem which was somehow
connected to a very large number of environment variables.  Do you
have a similar situation?

If not, post your system configuration (AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS,
what go32 prints when invoked with no arguments, and the output
of the command SET typed at the DOS prompt), and I will try to
figure it out.
