I downloaded gmake371.zip and checked it out. Using "maketc.exe", the Turbo C compiled
version included in the distribution, I was able to do a "make" in as low as 416K
(425,616 byte)!
(it also reduced the make time by about 7%, compared with Gnu C compiled make 3.69).
