The code for omanip in <iomanip.h> is broken.  You need to make it
look more like the code for imanip...I can't remember the exact
details, but shall post the correct header if so desired.  (Sorry,
I forgot to keep the orig. and make a patch.)

Where are you getting this?!  Anything involving __GNUG__ in
the C++ headers just means, AFAIK, that one can use the
 int foo() return r; { r = 17; }
convention.
