I really want to use gnat-1.83. I am investigating all angles. From either
Ada 83 or Ada 9X, I know for a fact that I can call C functions/procedures.
I will assume that if widgets (Icons) are created using C I should be
able to call the C programs from an Ada main driver and run with it. Excuse
my ignorance, I would like to know if GCC is sufficient to compile C
programs? If not, what else do I need to set up the environment properly ?
At FIU, I use the VMS and Ada 83 and PRAGMA INTERFACE to call C works great.
Does Gnat-1.83/dos/ada 9X support the PRAGMA IMPORT statement? It
should come with package INTERFACE.C .
Thanks.
Nirva.
