Subject: Error handling question

Hi everyone,

I've got what I think is a simple question. While debugging a
program, I've noticed that segmentation faults are trapped well when
'nodpmi' is in the GO32 environment variable, but causes the machine
to lock up when GO32 is running with 'nodpmi' absent.

As I understand it, if 'nodpmi' is specified, GO32 will provide
the basic functions which DPMI should give. I suspect that's why error
handling is a little more stable, since GO32 is handling it as opposed
to my DPMI service (386MAX -- I don't run under a DOS session in Windows)

Does this sound reasonable? Or am I way off track? I really
don't know for sure, so this is guesswork. Thanks!
