To: | djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu |
Ever since I installed my new 1 GB Western Digital IDE drive I have had problems compiling with DJGPP. The drive uses a TSR (loaded at bootup) to allow DOS and/or the system BIOS to access the full Gig(apparently the original IDE spec. had a 500 Meg limit) and my curiosity is how much memory is needed by DJGPP to make the jump to protected mode. If anyone has any suggestions please help... Thanks, William Newhall
