Subject: Best avenue for graphics apps?

Greetings -

I'm just getting started with djgpp, and I'm trying to understand what
the options are for creating graphics applications. First of all, from
what I can gather, it appears that a program built with libgr or libgrx
cannot be run under DPMI (at least until version 1.04?). Does this mean
that I have to reboot to test such a program? (I'm running 386MAX). Does
rsx alleviate this problem?

I came across the Xlib emulation package xlibemu, and managed to get the
"Hello, world" example to work. It looks very promising, particularly
since the author said that Tk3.3 worked under it. Is anyone using this
package? If so, does it work with Tk3.6?

Thanks,

Rob Gayvert
