Maybe it's just that you load it up, it works, no problem. No need for
net.traffic. I find it the best (and fastest) of the DOS emacs I've tried
(which isn't all, but quite a few) altho' I haven't used demacs or compiled my
own. It's still on my box.
(I'd also be very interested in a native win version too - I assume you've seen
Pearl/Lucid WinEmacs? Hungry beast.)
Anyway, just a vote of confidence.
