Subject: Error: Cannot open gcc
To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu

I using a PC-compatible 486DX/33. I am trying to complie a program
written in C++. My compiler works find; I can compile my source code
into objects. But when it reaches the linking stage, I get an error when
it tries to link to the library libgcc.a.

I have the LIBRARY_PATH environment variable set. I have also tried the
-L command line option. When I link the libc.a and libgpp.a libraries
using -lc -lgpp on the command line, I do not get any errors. The
specific error I get is: cannot open gcc. Has anyone else come across a
problem that is similiar? Please respond directly to me, as I am not a
member of this list.

TIA,

Brian J. Tang
