Subject:	curses - how to make ?

I recently obtained the curses zip file aecur102.zip
and extracted it do the correct directories

When I try and run the makefile, and get millions of cannot find *.h files

I am using the make from d.j.'s  port

I have no idea how to modify a makefile, what the options do etc.

There is no info on this in the faq - can anybody tell me how they 
maked curses,

d.j.'s compiler corectly compiles my c++ code
