I know TeX, not TeXInfo, but this looks like a bug in the texinfo.tex
file.
    If I had time, I could go track down the macro definition in
texinfo (or in the preamble to libref.texinfo), and add the
`@donoderef' stuff.  Since I don't have time, I post this as a
suggestion.
    I don't get the gnu.* newsgroups, so I don't know if this is a
general GNU TexInfo bug or somehow DJGPP-specific.  Since everybody is
complaining about libcref, and not other stuff, maybe a diff on the
libcref and gcc TeXInfo file preambles would help....
