Demacs comes with an object file that you can run with the latest
version of DJGPP.  It allows you to use the DPMI if you want it. 
However, for standard (non-dpmi) use, I found that the go32 that
comes with demacs does not do as many disk accesses when moving around
in a file (so it is quicker).  The swapping algorithms must be different.
