Subject: DJGPP num 386/20

>I just ended the installation of djgpp in my PC, and am having problems.
>I can't compile any of the examples using the grx library. Executing "make"
>in the "test" directory returns an error message ("missing separator" ?).
>An also, the instructions for the installation of the grx package say to
>execute "make install" to place the includes and libs in the djgpp normal
>directories, but there is no "install" label in the makefile.

E' sabido que algumas das makefiles do LIBGRX estao muito incompletas.
A solucao e' facil -- basta acrescentar ???/include a C_INCLUDE_PATH e
???/lib a LIBRARY_PATH, por exemplo.

>And more: the compilation of even simple programs is taking unreasonable time.
>My PC is a 386 notebook, with 3MB RAM, 80 MB HD, 20 MHz clock, and 387.
>Can someone give me some idea of what to do (other than to erase everything and
>return to Borland C...)?

Tambem e' simples -- com um sistema de baixo desempenho e pouca memoria
nao se consegue grande coisa. Uma solucao e' mudar para um 486 com pelo
menos 4 MB RAM...

Ciao,
Antonio.
