Subject: Free TCP/IP, Sockets for DJGPP ? (DV/X versioin)

The file you're looking for is QDDVX102.ZIP (I think this is the most
recent version). I believe that you can find it on most major SIMTEL
mirrors in .../djgpp and/or .../dv_x, as well as on QDECK.COM in
/pub/packages/djgpp (at least that's where I'd begin by looking, David
may have given a correct path).
Beware: You *really* do need DV/X, and the source code is *not*
available, and even if it were, it probably wouldn't help much because
I think that the socket stuff is just wrappers around DESQview API
calls. On the other hand, QDeck is telling me that they'd "like to"
release the source, and there is a DESQview runtime package, which may
be available separately from DV/X, and might permit you to do sockets
with QDDVX without the 1.5 MB of overhead of DV/X.
Aside to David: could you zip up and upload somewhere those
implementations of pipe() and fork(). etc, that you mentioned?
QDECK.COM would be a good place, I guess.
