Subject: Problems installing djgpp on 486.

2) After following the instructions about setting various variables
etc, I tried to run the thing. gcc (I suspect it really is cc1) is
then reporting the following problems:

2a) trying to compile a file by

	gcc x.c

will cause the program to write

	Unknown file type 0x6923 (064443)


I am currently having the same basic problem with make and all of the
tex processing utilities. I get the same Unknown file type error, with
varying values. And I can guarantee it's not oemacs, because I don't have
it installed. I'm running an IBM PS/2 80 with a 386SX16, 4meg of RAM and
a 340meg HD.

If anyone has any clue of what's going wrong, please!!! reply ASAP.
