	I have a friend with a Diamond Viper VLB card (version 2.02). My software tries
	to set mode 640x480x256. If he uses the driver viper.grn he gets the error

	   SetGrMode: unknown adapter type in driver

Is he using an executable linked with a matching version of GRX? The
driver may also be corrupted -- try recompiling it.


	He has been unable to get the GO32 builtin VESA driver to work either.

He could try the VESA driver from the GRX maintenance release. Look for
the file "grx103m1.zip" at the usual sites.

	Any suggestions?
