Subject: C++ exception handling

Despite the silly things I said last night, your code is absolutely
correct according to Ellis and Stroustrup.
    I also had a chance to compile it. The error messages clearly
indicate that the compiler is warning that these are reserved words,
but it's going to try to use them as identifiers. That's why you get
parse errors immediately after using throw and try.
    In other words, exception handling is unimplemented in GNU CC.
    This thread should move to the appropriate newsgroup, where you
can ask when exception handling will be implemented. (My default
!@#$% newsserver just dropped the GNU groups, apparently, so I can
point to it at the moment.)
