I want you to realize they don't have threads in PLAN9 (what Bell Labs
is currently working on).

Threads can lead to hoary (pun ;-) problems, and make debugging much 
harder.

A basic way to debug is to write code that either forks or runs with
threads...its much easier to debug forking processing than threaded 
processes...

But if you system doesn't support concurrency, it probably will be
easier to get a better system than try for threaded Ms/Dos...
