I am new to this group so please excuse me if I am asking a bone-head
question.... Anyways...
II just installed the djgpp package and ran the test suite thing.
For some reason, as.exe cant figure out what ".stabs" means. Has 
anybody out there had a similar problem and is there a reasonable 
fix ( like some configuration parameter that I've screwed up) .
