1) what's the best way to get a gcc cross-compiler
going form sparcs to djgcc...It seems if I make the right 386
cross compiler,

2) I'm not very familiar with the inards of configure...
But I like the way it works...
How do I configure the utilities for djgcc/msdos...?

(I've already had problems where I took fileutils, configured
it on a Sun with --srcdir=., took it to a PC, tried to make it
(I'm using gmake 3.69 on dos) and saw it wanted a real
shell for the for loops for subdirectories).

Is there interest/thought on making one of the command line
interepreters (bash? zsh? ksh?) available on msdos without
process control/backgrounding?
