Subject: make 3.69 distribution (mak369bn.zip)

Oops.
In my previous frothing on this subject, I forgot to mention that
the programs in the compiler suite (except for G032 itself and a
couple exceptional cases) are stubbed. So make is operating under
mode (2), finding an old GO32 (v 1.07) and crashing and burning.
Presumably it is that GO32 which is supplying the version number you
saw. Since you didn't supply exact text of the error message, we
can't know.
Note that you may not know that you have such a GO32 because many
shareware and freeware programs use GO32. (If they comply with the
license and you read the readmes you did know at one time....) So any
such program may have installed a GO32 without you knowing it.
