I don't know of any bugs which go away with a compiler change, but go32.exe
shrinks by 4K if compiled by bc 3.1. File sizes are
   distributed go32.exe - 77,178
   bc 3.1 compiled go32 - 73,086
It's not a big deal, but it's the only easy way to shrink my app by 4K.

How awkward. My BBS has only a 20MB hard disk. Last I looked, there were
well over 20MB of files in the djgpp directory at Simtel. I might be able to
squeeze in gcc, but I'll bet they also want gas and binutils, and the way
things are packaged, probably gpp too. I'll have to contact the GNU folks
and ask whether having the sources offline but mountable on request is
adequate.
