Subject: Distributing a recompiled GO32
Reply-To: babcock AT cfa DOT harvard DOT edu

If I distribute a version of GO32 which is recompiled from unaltered sources,
but by a compiler other than Turbo C 2, do DJ's licensing conditions change
in any way? Does it matter whether GO32 is separate or bound into the
executable? The reason for asking is that in the past it has been suggested
that some bugs might be fixed by using Borland C 3.1, but there were some
questions about whether the Borland license allowed you to produce compilers
and DOS extenders. I do notice that GO32 gets smaller if compiled with BC
3.1 (haven't tried 4.0 on it yet).
