Subject: invisible CPP-Warning -> CC1-Error ?

   I had some problems with a nasty little invisible warning that
   resulted in an error.

   Why does a warning from CPP cause an error-message from CC1? Why
   doesn't GCC tell me anything about this warning ( -v -Wall )? Can
   I suppress the automatic deletion of the temporary files in the
   case of an error? - This would have helped a lot to localize the
   source of the error-message.

The warning causes an error message because it's not C! That's clear
enough, I think.
    I'm not a GCC source expert, but it looks to me like somebody got
the file wrong in an fprintf() or substituted a printf() for a
fprintf() or something like that somewhere along the line. This
should go to stderr, you're right to be confused by where it ended up.
You should report this one to the FSF, it's not a DJGPP problem. (I'd
do it except I forget the GNU address and I'm too lazy to look it
up....)
