     Hi DJ gurus.

I have a problem with last version of DJGPP.

I used DJGPP to build a huge CERN application libraries and packages.
All my users was happy untill I re-compiled all CERN stuff with the last release
of gcc 2.5.7.
Now to build any appl. task one needs to free at least 50 Mbytes on his
hard drive and sometimes this amount isn't enough to build applications. This
time to build any application with my old libraries built with DJ 1.10 only
few Mb was enough if any.

What was happened? Is it a bug or this is a newest facility of DJGPP?

The main goal of porting CERNLIB to PC's was to provide for a physicist
posisbilities to continue his work at home with a cheap PC. The last features
of DJGPP closes it at all. Because it isn't possible to keep 60-70 Mbyte free
on LapTop and cheap PC.
Pay your attention that there is no problem to use the new version of DJGPP
with the old libraries, i.e built with previous version of gcc and DJGPP.

  Any ideas?

  Valery
