Quite so. I had the dubious pleasure of being on vacation, when 1.11
came out - when I got back, there were some 200+ DJGPP related messages in
my inbox, intermixed with 5-or-so personal messages. Had the DJGPP stuff
been in a newsgroup, it would have been so much easier to sort through.
