Subject: Cross Compiling

Hello,

I'm interested in learning about using DJGPP to cross compile for a couple
of other platforms, specifically RS/6000 and an HP work station in the 700
series. I read the documentation that I found in gcc257dc.zip about using
the -b switch to define what platform to compile for and the -m options
to further optimize your code, but it appears that I would need several
versions of DJGPP all compiled differently, one for each machine I want
to compile for.

- Is this really the way it is? or can I do the job with a smaller set of files?

- Has anyone worked on cross compiling for the two platforms mentioned above?

- How hard is it get DJGPP to cross compile for another platform assuming
no one has done it for that particular machine and can share with me? :)
(I mean, how hard is it to do it for one of the platforms mentioned in the
  documentation - not anything new!)

Thanks for your help!
