alright, I'm still confused.
I pulled up my VESA TSR (CLVESA.COM - Cirrus Logic VESA) and that is fine.
I ran VESAINFO.COM, and it tells me, among other things, that 800x600
and 640x480 256 color modes are available.

I run t05 - the diagonal line to middle of screen & coordinate display -
and it comes up with dots all over the place, approximating the diagonal,
and huge characters that spell out (320,240) - the correct center of
the video screen - yet it obviously doesn't have the mode right....

what gives? Anybody out there running DJGPP on a winbook with good
results?

* I'm using an external CRT for res. beyond 640x480x64

Thanks,

Matthew
