Subject: Duplicate messages

I don't understand exactly what is going on, but apparently someone at
"Kaleida Labs" has added DJGPP as a source of news for their news
server (news AT golden DOT kaleida DOT com), and also as a recipient. The only
way I can explain the fact that we get *only* DJGPP mailings
duplicated is that DJGPP was added selectively to receive only DJGPP.
Or maybe they don't *do* anything there, so DJGPP is all they do :-)
The reason we don't get infinite amounts of mail is that mail servers
are designed to check for loops, so when it sees its own postmark it
doesn't redistribute the material.
The other hypothesis is that some maniac has decided this is an
appropriate response to the large number of "subscribe,"
"unsubscribe," and "help" messages that get posted to the list.
This will continue until the news server at kaleida.com is fixed
or is removed from the DJGPP list.
    Patiently yours,
    Steve
